Frontier Airlines is an ultra-low-cost airline headquartered in Denver, where it has remained since 1994. Its A320 family aircraft go to over 100 locations on more than 500 flights each day. Frontier has bases in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, Tampa, and Phoenix, where it employs over 7,000 people.
Frontier Miles is Frontier's frequent flyer loyalty program. It is free to join and mileage-based, so each mile you fly with Frontier earns you one mile in its program. The program also provides a credit card that allows you to earn miles and elite status as you spend.
How to Earn Frontier Miles
Enrolling in Frontier Miles is straightforward and free of charge. To get started, visit the Frontier Miles sign-up page and establish an account. Fill out all of the information necessary to establish your account and submit the form.
Once you've signed up, you'll be able to start earning miles for future travel. There are several methods to earn Frontier Miles, including traveling, using Frontier's co-branded credit card, shopping with partners, and more.
Flying with Frontier Airlines
Earning miles with the Frontier Miles program while flying has proven straightforward. Members have been able to earn at least one redeemable mile for each mile flown. Those having status in the program have been able to earn much more.
Frontier began using a revenue-based profit structure in early 2024. Members will now receive 10 to 20 miles per dollar spent, with miles flown no longer a consideration.
The further up the status ladder you climb, the faster you'll get to your next prize ticket. A hypothetical $100 flight nets a base member 1,000 redeemable miles. However, members who achieved 100,000 qualifying miles in a calendar year would get 2,000 miles for the same flight.
Earning Status with Frontier Airlines: Elite Tiers
If you've been a Frontier miles member for a long time, you've probably seen some changes. In 2024, Frontier rebranded its current elite status categories and added a Silver status level that just required 10,000 miles to obtain. It also added some more bonuses to each rank. Here's a short peek at the updated status levels and bonuses.
New Tier - Silver (10,000): Benefits include:
Gold (formerly Elite 20K): Includes all perks of Silver, plus
Platinum (formerly Elite 50k): Includes all perks of Gold, plus:
